Lakers Most Likely Will Win It All
In terms of probability, the Lakers have more chances than the Celtics have. I'm sorry for those of you who are rooting for C's but, just have a look at history!

The Boston Celtics are 2007-2008 regular season champs with a 66-16 W/L record while Lakers had the third best record in the league. Could regular season champs win the title in the same season? I have looked at previous 30 years and here's what I found briefly:

2007-2008 Regular Season Wrap-Up

We had 1230 games in 2007-2008 regular season. A couple of teams were the real outliers. Hey, haven't you noticed NBDL was fully integrated with the NBA this season? "West side story" was somewhat different, as competition level has gone nuts. Statistical comparison between afternoon and night games has revealed the facts behind the boring matinee games which are originally designed for "family & friends", not for basketball sport.

Trades Working Out?

What you will get in this article is kind of simple and easily comparable stuff. Don't expect me to make judgements about how smart the player movements were. This study should be considered as a comparison tool which helps us have some insight whether the trades, on the paper, seem to help out teams or not! It was just a matter of me listing traded players one under the other and putting stats (for the same player) together.

Matinee Games Taking It's Toll on Pace, Offense

Have you wondered how many matinee games or afternoon games are scheduled? I have noticed that I got bored anytime I watch those games. In this article while you may find the impact of matinee games on pace, offensive and defensive efficiencies; it would be more interesting to learn insights of NBA players who are being forced to play afternoon games at the times they are not get used to be on the court. Also from a fan standpoint, especially on Sundays, I would rather consider doing alternative things than attending an early NBA game.

NBA Teams Giving Up Road-Trip Enders?

What makes me write this article is the New York Team. With being the second worst defensive team of NBA how did the Knicks manage Pistons hold to 65 points. It was their most lopsided victory of the season. Contrarily, scoring 65 points against any team is worth to think about the reason(s). Here is a breakdown of most likely reasons which will help us see why such results in the NBA are not as stunning as they seem.

How Fair is NBA Schedule?

As we have 1230 NBA regular season games, do you think the games are being scheduled fairly? On the paper, it seems that some teams have easier schedules than the others; but with home stands and road trips all teams have to play 82 games in a 5.5. month time. To sum up research results, all I can speak that the further your team advances in last season's playoff, the easier schedule will be awarded by NBA.
